May, 2005 was the 20th anniversary of The Animal Medical Center in Fort Oglethorpe.  We took the opportunity to invite many of our old friends back for a day of remembrance and Celebration.

We had "Blues Clues" (the big blue dog in the photos) entertaining as well as "Madam Colby" the Pet Psychic. 

A ferret, tortoise, and hissing cockroaches visited from the Warner Park Zoo.  Debbie Shelley brought the animals and spent some time reminiscing with Dr. Schaffeld and Dr. Hadden about their days as veterinarians for the Warner Park Zoo.

Information tables were set up and tours of the hospital offered.  Plenty of food was available.  There was a Stupid Pet Tricks Contest (won by Suzanne Howard's dog, "Annie")   

There was a moon walk for the children and goody-bags for all pets in attendance.

The day's Grand Door Prize of a Color Television was awarded to conclude the day.

Dr. Schaffeld, Dr. Hadden, and Dr. Swafford would like to thank everyone who came for the day.  Of course the day would not have been possible without the help of the World's Greatest Veterinary Staff. 

The Animal Medical Center celebrates every day the years of pet care given by the vets and staff.  Thanks to all who care for their pets and let us improve the pet-owner bond.
