The Burke Cockatoos

We now have a Full House with 3 Cockatoo's Missy, a Malaccan Cockatoo, Gabriel, a Medium Sulfur Crested Cockatoo and Lacey, a Minor Sulfur Crested Cockatoo.
We also have a calico cat named Callie and a Shepherd named Rosco .
Gabriel has been with us for 11 years, and was adopted after he flew into our lives right before a tropical storm.  He said Hello and stole my heart.  I have always called him my little Angel Bird. His favorite activity is to be petted and scratched.
Lacey, my little Cockatoo was adopted through Dr. Schaffeld after she was abandoned at The Animal Medical Center.  She is a one person Bird and is not afraid of anything big or small.    Her favorite pastime is chasing Larry around the house when she gets her time out of the cage.   She only talks when she is in "Time Out"  and says" Hello Lacey."
Missy was also adopted through the Animal Medical Center.  She is 5 years old.   Missy enjoys being the center of attention and loves to go outside.  She talks, whistles and is Potty Trained.  She loves to take a shower and then get blow dried.
All three Birds could live to be seventy, will always act like toddlers and are members of our family.  We are very lucky to have them entrusted into our care.
